Take a Chair

La Chair ..was  constructed for the  exhibition  Take a Chair here in San Miguel de Allende.  "Take a Chair is an independent artistic project that summoned a select group of renowned artists from San Miguel de Allende to depart from their usual artistic production and transfer their respective languages into the world of the chair. Organized and curated by Alberto Lenz, the exhibition consists of basic wooden chairs reworked and re-visioned in different ways, with total thematic and technical freedom, by eight invited artists: Ri Anderson, Lena Bartula, Federico Correa, Erica Daborn, Gene Johnson, Alejandra Mendoza, Linda Soberman and Lenz himself.
